(TargetLiberty.org) – On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump complained about New York City Judge Juan Merchan who is overseeing the hush money criminal case.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump did not outright mention Merchan but did refer to a “Trump Hating Judge” who had blocked him from speaking about people who were spending their time on TV sharing hate. He then claimed that people across the world were criticizing the “Justice” system in New York. He added regarding the gag order that he wanted to be able to respond to everything others were saying about him. He also pointed out that the case against him was a case of election interference and that the entire trial was “unconstitutional.”

Trump is facing 34 counts of falsifying business regards in connection to hush money payment made on his behalf by his former lawyer Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Cohen had reportedly paid Daniels $130,000 right before the 2016 presidential election to keep her quiet about her alleged affair with the former President in 2006.

Trump has maintained that he never had an affair with Daniels and has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.

Assistant District Attorney Chris Conroy has requested that Trump face a $1,000 fine for each of his three Truth Social posts where he violated the gag order which blocks him from attacking prosecutors, witnesses, court staff, and the judge’s family. Merchan decided against making a decision on these violations and instead set the hearing date for these violations to April 23.
