(TargetLiberty.org) – Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign has announced a new campaign that is going to be focused on mobilizing LGBTQ+ voters and community members from across the United States.
The new initiative comes seven months before the presidential election and is focused on bringing more support to Biden’s camp, as currently, he is facing historically low approval ratings. The “Out for Biden-Harris” campaign is going to help target a group of voters that Julie Chavez Rodriguez, the Biden campaign manager argued are a “force to be reckoned with.”
She continued by pointing out that this group was essential to Biden’s success in 2020 and the Democrats winning in the 2022 midterm elections. This is why they were thrilled to launch this campaign which would harness the power of this community to help get President Biden reelected.
The announcement was shared along with a campaign video where Vice President Kamala Harris noted that rights were won by people who made sure their voices were heard. She continued by pointing out that by making their voices heard this group had also made marriages more secure.
Harris pointed out that they would continue to work for this community and movement in the same way they had always done, by helping build coalition and unity. She added that they would always focus on how people had more things drawing them together than separating them.
The campaign also released a statement in which they argued that the Biden administration was the “most pro-LGBTQ+ in history” and that they believed that LGBTQ+ voters were an essential part of Biden winning the 2024 election.
