(TargetLiberty.org) – On Wednesday, a focus group of eight undecided voters from Wisconsin and Pennsylvania admitted to skepticism regarding the time and motivation behind the indictments of former President Donald Trump.

The video platform 2WAY asked the focus group an array of questions relating to the upcoming election and political space currently. All of the voters agreed during the survey that President Biden’s economic policy was not good.

In a different segment, journalist Mark Halperin, who is one of the platform’s founding members, had asked the focus group what they thought about the indictments and how they believed they would affect the upcoming election.

Shawn from Pennsylvania, who had voted for Trump in 2020 stated that he believes the indictments to be a “political farce.” He proceeded to say that in the United States, there is generally a policy for legal cases to move forward fast and questioned why the indictments had not come out in 2020 or 2021.

Others claimed that it was possible that Trump would be found guilty of something. However, they did also note that the charges against the former President appeared to be “weaponization” of the Department of Justice.

Omar from Michigan, who in the previous presidential election had voted for Biden, argued that currently, it felt like they were abusing the justice system. He added that while there were some things and cases where it appeared that Trump should face charges and could potentially be guilty of something, the cases right now seem to be completely weaponized and unfair. He noted that this feels completely unfair and as if they were trying to “keep dissenters down” with this tactic.
