(TargetLiberty.org) – Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden is potentially going to be indicted following a years-long probe. Fox News contributor Miranda Devine during “Fox & Friends Weekend” Sunday stated that it is likely that President Biden was considering pardoning his son if he ended up being indicted.

These warning comments come after Biden’s latest remarks addressing the investigation looking into his son’s business dealings. During a sit-down interview, Biden affirmed that he was confident of his son’s innocence, however, he did not make any comments regarding his possible indictment.

Devine in her remarks noted that in the past four decades that Joe Biden has worked in politics, he has developed this image of being a “moderate Democrat, lunch pail Joe, working-class Joe, the poorest man in Congress,” and a devout family man who has gone through hardship, and this is the angle that he is going to continue using.

She added that in her view Biden was setting everything up so that he could have the ground ready for the possibility that Hunter will need to be pardoned. As she points out, with the way that Joe Biden is presenting the situation he could win the sympathy of Americans who will just view this move as an act of love toward his family.

In the interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, which aired at 10 p.m. Friday, Biden argued that his son had not done anything wrong and that he had “faith in him” and felt “proud of him.”

However, Devine judged these remarks by stating that they were rehearsed and premeditated and they were part of President Biden’s general approach of trying to frame the investigation as a “political witch hunt” against his family, including his son and his brother Jim.
