(TargetLiberty.org) – In the congressional hearing regarding the southern border, Rebecca Kiessling, a mother of two who lost her sons to fentanyl poisoning was called in to testify. Recently she blasted President Biden for his response to telling the story of Marjorie Taylor Greene questioning her.
Kiessling’s two sons accidentally died from fentanyl poisoning in 2020. In a video posted on Wednesday night, Kiessling is calling on Biden to “show some serious concern for the lives lost” and to apologize for his response. She further noted that Biden’s earlier remarks on Wednesday had been “unacceptable.”
Kiessling noted that she was “shocked” to see the video of President Biden discussing the remarks made by Greene. Biden while discussing the case let out a small laugh over Greene’s allegations that he was to blame for the two fentanyl deaths, even though Biden had not yet been elected to office at the time of the deaths. In an emotional statement, Kiessling called him out for his laughter saying that it was unacceptable to laugh over her sons’ deaths even if the congresswoman had misspoken.
On Wednesday, Kiessling had testified that her two sons Caleb and Kyler, had died in 2020 after taking painkillers which without them knowing had been laced with fentanyl. Greene then suggested that the deaths were caused by Biden’s handling of the situation at the southern border.
In her video, Kiessling pointed out that all Democratic members of the committee had offered her condolences, but Biden had not even done that.
