(TargetLiberty.org) – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., running as an independent candidate for president, has called on President Biden to demonstrate that he possesses the cognitive abilities necessary for another term in office. Kennedy Jr. emphasized the importance of Biden showing the American public his capability to navigate the complexities of his role during a particularly challenging period in U.S. history.

Kennedy Jr. expressed concern over the need for a leader who is actively engaged and capable of offering solutions to the nation’s crises. He raised doubts about the confidence Americans might have in Biden’s ability to respond effectively to critical situations, such as emergency calls in the middle of the night, suggesting that the public’s faith in Biden’s readiness might be waning.

Having initially competed against Biden in the Democratic primaries, Kennedy Jr. has now opted to continue his presidential bid as an independent. The issue of Biden’s age and cognitive health remains a topic of discussion as he campaigns for re-election. Despite criticisms and the portrayal by special counsel Robert Hur of Biden as a well-intentioned but forgetful elderly man, the Biden campaign and the White House have staunchly defended his fitness for office.

Responding to the scrutiny, Biden has countered doubts about his competence with assurance, highlighting his achievements as president and dismissing the need for external validation. Furthermore, in addressing concerns about his age, Biden has shifted the focus to the relevance and innovation of his policies, arguing that the age of one’s ideas is what truly matters.
