(TargetLiberty.org) – Former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) argued that singer Taylor Swift expressing support for President Joe Biden in the upcoming election would “make sense” as all of her tracks were focused on her “choosing the wrong guy.”

On Saturday in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Santos argued that it would make sense for Swift to endorse Biden as around 95 percent of her songs were focused on her choosing the wrong guy. HE added that they could expect that in 2025 Swift would release a revenge song on Biden.

In 2020 Swift endorsed Joe Biden in his presidential campaign, however, she has not made a similar announcement for the 2024 presidential election. In the past few months, Swift has become the target of a number of rightwing conspiracy theories about the NFL fixing games for the Kansas City Chiefs just so Swift and her boyfriend, the Chiefs tight end get to the Super Bowl in exchange for endorsing Biden.

Swift posted earlier this month urging voters to go vote on Super Tuesday. In her statement at the time she had only pushed for people to vote for the people that represented them the best. She added that if people had not yet made any plans to go vote they should do so today. She then promoted the voting platform Vote.org to get people to check the times and polling places they could vote in.

Santos has claimed that his favorite Swift song is “I Knew You Were Trouble” and claimed that Swift was going to be in “Trouble.”
