(TargetLiberty.org) – This week more concerns arose regarding President Joe Biden’s mental fitness after he told reporters that he was going to “get in trouble” if he took their questions.

The incident occurred on Tuesday following a White House press event for the launching of the White House Competition Council, a task force focused on combating living costs. Biden started off by mumbling something regarding questions before picking up the microphone. He then said into the mic that he needed to not start with questions or else he was going to end up getting in trouble.

At the same time, reporters had started to shout out their questions, while a White House press handler tried to get them to quiet down as Biden was just standing there staring.

Peter Daou, a former Democrat campaign adviser, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say that Biden “is not well.”

Biden had previously told reporters that he should not be answering their questions as it would get him in trouble in May 2021 according to a New York Post report. At the time Jen Psaki was the White House press secretary.

The Daily Mail pointed out how a month later Biden had told reporters that if he did not do things in the right way he would be in trouble with the staff. This is what had led to him just walking off at the end of the briefing.

At the time Psaki had claimed that Biden had been answering questions almost every day from the press and that this is not something that they recommend.
