(TargetLiberty.org) – Former First Lady Melania Trump’s ex-senior adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff predicted that the former first lady would not attend the hush money trial in New York in order to avoid any negative press.
On Tuesday during an interview with CNN Wolkoff argued that she did not believe that Melania Trump would join her husband former President Donald Trump in court. She continued by noting that she did not believe that Melania would support Trump in this way and that she could feel the humiliation without needing to appear before the cameras.
She pointed out that everything Melania Trump does is completely articulated and staged and that she would never give people the opportunity to write and share something negative about her.
The hush money trial in Manhattan relates to the 34 counts of falsifying business records that Trump is facing in connection to a hush money payment made by his then-fixer Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her remaining quiet about her alleged affair with Trump ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Trump has retained that he committed no wrongdoings and has denied the affair.
Eric Trump, Trump’s son has appeared in court several times in the last few weeks, while Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump also joined him in court on Monday.
The former first lady has abstained from appearing during the 2024 campaign with her husband, and those close to her have argued that she is an extremely private person who is not fond of campaigning.
