(TargetLiberty.org) – The American Accountability Foundation and the group’s director Tom Jones have been investigating those government employees who are suspected of having been hostile to former President Donald Trump’s policies. The investigation started with the Department of Homeland Security. As he argued they are currently relying on receiving tips from conservative contacts, including workers in their probe as the conservatives are preparing for a new White House. They are also looking at social media posts and the background of certain high-ranking government employees.
The group has recently announced that they are intending to publish their findings online. The Heritage Foundation has supplied them with a $100,000 grant aiming to post online the names of 100 government workers to show who could potentially stand in the way of former President Donald Trump’s agenda if he wins back the White House in November.
Former Capitol Hill aide Jones noted that they needed to have a clear understanding of who these people are. The Jones’ Project Sovereignty 2025 comes after the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 which created the groundwork for supplying personnel and proposals from the first day of a new administration.
American Federation of Government Employees policy director Jacqueline Simon argued that the language they were using in these projects was “shocking.”
It is common for civil servants to be former military personnel and all of them are required to take an oath to the Constitution before they are allowed to start working in the federal government. This oath is to the country and not to the sitting president in the White House.
