(TargetLiberty.org) – Former President Donald Trump argued that people should not be feeling bad following the recent backlash faced by President Joe Biden following his poor performance in the first presidential debate.

Trump argued that someone had told him that they felt bad for Biden due to how pathetic he was in the presidential debate. He then pushed for people to not feel sorry for him, claiming that Biden was the “bad guy” and he was destroying the United States, which is why people should not be feeling bad for him. Trump’s remarks had come on Fox News Radio’s “Brian Kilmeade Show.”

In the past few weeks, Biden has faced a lot of criticism following his performance in the debate. Following the debate many Democrats even pushed for Biden to withdraw from the presidential race and argued that someone else should be taking over as the Democratic nominee.

Biden has often stated that he is not going to be exiting the presidential race. He continues to have the support of many Democratic leaders and allies who rushed to defend him following the debate. Biden has maintained that despite his recent performance, he continues to be the best candidate to defeat former President Donald Trump in the presidential election.

On Tuesday during a rally, Trump had challenged Biden to an 18-hole round of golf. Following the issuing of the challenge the Biden campaign stated that President Biden did not have the time to engage with Trump’s “weird antics.”

On Wednesday when he was asked about whether his choice of running mate will be affected by Biden potentially dropping out of the race, Trump argued that it would not be affected. He added that he does not care if he is running for office against Biden or a different Democratic candidate.
