(TargetLiberty.org) – Bill Stevenson, who is the ex-husband of first lady Jill Biden stated on Saturday in an interview with the New York Post, that the Dr. Jill Biden he has been seeing on TV over the past five years is not the same person he had been married to from 1970 to 1975.
In his statement, he argued that Jill Biden was not someone that he recognized now, and argued that she had become a “completely different woman.”
On Thursday, the First Lady expressed her support for her husband, President Joe Biden’s debate performance, even though many Democrats pushed for him to get out of the race due to his poor showing.
At an after-party following the end of the debate, Jill Biden had praised her husband telling him that he had done great, had known all the facts, and there were no questions that he had left unanswered. However, while there are those who are impressed by her support towards her husband, there are also those, like Stevenson, who have argued that her approach and support were not helpful.
As he noted he did not know why the first lady was so stuck on defending Joe Biden and ensuring that he continued to be in the race despite the fact that he is struggling. He added that Joe Biden seemed to be struggling “with everybody” and that while in the past there were moments he was proud of her. However, he stated that right now the situation made him cringe whenever Biden stated that Trump is a liar, as he is “no better liar” than Joe Biden.
