(TargetLiberty.org) – Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg tried to strike a patriotic pose on the Fourth of July – but the stunt fell flat, as angry viewers suggested they’d prefer it if he just respected the Constitution.

On July 4, Zuckerberg posted a video on the social media platform Instagram, owned by Facebook, showing him waving a large US flag as he surfed across a calm lake to a country music soundtrack. Presumably, Zuckerberg wanted to show off how proud he is to be American – but Instagram users weren’t impressed.
Over the last few years, Zuckerberg has attracted a lot of criticism for Facebook’s regular attempts at political censorship of Conservative voices – and his shambolic election integrity policies have attracted criticism from the left, too. So, when he posted his cheesy video, the comments section erupted with criticism. “Where’s Jaws when you need him?” one poster asked, while another mocked the tech billionaire by implying he doesn’t understand how normal people act. One comment referred to the video as “full cringe.”
Zuckerberg’s surfing antics aren’t the first time he’s been mocked. Previously, he posted a bizarre picture of himself with his face slathered in sunscreen, then claimed he was trying to hide from journalists.
