Woman Says She Was Blocked From Talking About Andrew Cuomo's Mishandling of COVID

(TargetLiberty.org) – There’s been plenty of criticism of New York’s governor over his mismanagement of the COVID pandemic – but how much more would there have been if the media weren’t trying to protect him? A New York woman says she tried to discuss the governor’s policies with reporters – but NBC News wouldn’t let her.

On February 1, Dawn Best spoke to Fox News about an earlier interview she gave to NBC following her mother’s death in a New York nursing home last March. On March 25, 2019, Cuomo’s health department ordered nursing homes to take in COVID patients, leading to a wave of deaths among their elderly residents – including Best’s mother. But, when she tried to discuss Cuomo’s role in the tragedy, she was told to change her words.

According to Best, she was told to tell her story “without Governor Cuomo’s name, and just say New York failed you.” Now, she’s speaking out about her experience. If this is true, it could open up a whole new set of issues in the wake of the Cuomo COVID-19 death miscount scandal.
