Will You Still Support Trump in 2020?

Here’s the Background Story:

It’s hard to believe that the 2020 election is less than one year away. President Trump is working to keep his seat in the Oval Office for another term while an overflowing field of Democratic Party candidates attempts to take his spot. Given how the past three years have fared, will you still support Trump in 2020?

Here Are the Contributing Factors:

Let’s consider what Trump has done for America since his inauguration in 2017.

Trump is the first president in the recent past that has established an actual relationship with North Korea’s leader. Kim Jong-un, who is quite a character, has formed a friendly bond with President Trump. They’ve exchanged multiple letters and met in person many times in the spirit of cooperation.

Unfortunately, Kim has been prioritizing his own agenda during the last half of 2019. Still, Trump’s efforts to try and dissuade North Korea from going down a dark path outshine any and all efforts from the last few presidencies. The upside is, if North Korea decides to come around, a bridge of friendship between Trump and Kim still remains, which will prove useful in future negotiations.

In addition to the North Korea situation, President Trump pulled America out of the Iran deal struck by Obama. Essentially, in this agreement, WE pay Iran billions of dollars to not wage war on its neighbors or exceed a certain level of enriched uranium production. Trump saw that, clearly, this was a losing deal for everyone and remedied the situation.

The economy under Trump has grown substantially. According to a recent Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report, job growth continues to rise and unemployment fell to record lows. In fact, economic performance exceeded previous expectations!

A better economy directly translates into more freedom for the average American.

The GDP also continues to rise, which is an excellent indicator of general prosperity in America. One contributing factor to this is Trump’s latest tax cuts. Immediately afterward, more than $300 billion went straight back into the economy.

Also, for the first time since 1957, the US is a net exporter of natural gas under President Trump’s watch.
