(TargetLiberty.org) – There is a rise in the speculations regarding former First Lady Michelle Obama potentially being the replacement for President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race as the new party nominee.

Biden, who has already won in the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries, is most likely expected to be the party’s nominee in November. He is also expected to face former President Donald Trump who won the Republican primary races in the same states.

However, there are many concerns surrounding the two men that have emerged, especially regarding their mental acuity and age. Voters are concerned about 77-year-old Trump and 81-year-old Biden facing each other in the presidential race which has resulted in speculations about the possibility of Obama replacing Biden in the upcoming election.

Fox News in a recent report noted that Douglas MacKinnon, a former White House official, signaled the possibility that Obama could become a contender in the race and noted that she would become the leading contender. He added that the Democrats may consider pushing her to join the race. However, Obama has previously argued that she has no intention of joining the presidential race.

During an interview in 2013 with Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, the former claimed that she would not be running for the White House. She added that she has never shown any interest in politics and that she had supported her husband when he decided he wanted to be involved in politics. She added that he was “great” in politics but that at no point in time did she think that she would want to run for the White House.

Obama has argued that instead she is more interested in service and providing aid to children and that this was something she could do without needing to be in office.
