(TargetLiberty.org) – Many people think “Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)” is just some catchphrase used to make Liberals sound like a bunch of lunatics. They might just be right. Not because they actually have a firm grasp on their sanity, but because it’s possible that people who label them the “looney left” are right on the money.
The University of Massachusetts Lowell conducted a poll that asked voters who they were backing in the New Hampshire primary. Former Obama VP Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) both garnered 23% to lead the pack. Then, they asked a second question:
“Which of the following outcomes would you prefer [sic] occur on November 3, 2020? Donald Trump wins re-election or A [sic] giant meteor strikes the earth, extinguishing all human life.”
Haha, very funny guys! Right? Frightening is what it is.
Those “leaning Democrat” preferred the meteor strike by a margin of nearly 2-1 (64% to 36%). Equally as disturbing, Independents were evenly split. That’s why knowing the candidates is so important. What are their voters willing to endure to oust Trump?
Former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s beliefs could lead to more criminals on the street. He would like to somehow “reduce” inmate populations and end the cash bail system. He’s also in favor of raising taxes to pay for a Medicare-For-All “option.”
Bernie Sanders has made no bones about being a radical leftist during his second try at the Oval Office. True to the eugenicist views of Planned Parenthood Magaret Sanger, he’s on record as a person who would allow US funds to be used to fund abortions. Also, his solution to the vast number of illegal aliens in the country? Make them all citizens so they can vote Democrat is the natural implication.
Joe Biden was number two in the Obama administration and is trying to run on his coattails — enough said.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is perhaps most famous (read: infamous) for her now debunked claim to being Native American. Unfortunately, that didn’t come until after she falsified legal documents relating to college admissions and government employment. She’s on the record as having few, if any, qualms about ignoring the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Of course, she also supports the typical socialist ideals the progressive Liberals flock towards.
Maybe all the Democrats and Independents who said they’d prefer an extinction-level event to a second term for President Trump took it all as a joke. Maybe they didn’t, though. If not, one must assume any policies, no matter how radical and leftist they might be, are acceptable alternatives to the current president. Should we bet the future of our country and our children that the Liberals have a somewhat warped sense of humor?
