Whoopi Is Back At It With Insane Request – Wants Law-Abiding Gun Owners To Be Jailed
(TargetLiberty.org) – Actress and TV personality Whoopi Goldberg let loose with two astonishing rants against America’s most popular rifle this week. Triggered by last week’s deadly Texas school shooting, Goldberg insisted the AR15 must be banned, and anyone who hangs on to one should go to jail.

On May 31, Goldberg, who co-presents ABC’s “The View,” used the show to demand the prohibition of AR15-style semi-automatic rifles. Insisting the popular firearm “has to go,” she demanded the NRA “give that gun up” and ranted “you can’t have it anymore.”
The next day, Goldberg returned to the same theme, sparking a debate with guest host Tara Setmayer. She began by repeating her demand for a ban on the AR15. Setmayer pointed out that if semi-automatic rifles were banned, mass shooters would just use handguns instead, as Seung-Hi Cho did in the 2007 Virginia Tech shooting that left 32 dead. Goldberg hit back with a bizarre statement that “a handgun does not turn people to dust.” That’s correct — but then neither does an AR15, as Goldberg was clearly implying.
Setmayer went on to say if AR15-style rifles were banned there would be a huge black market, because they’re the most popular guns in America, and asked what should happen about that. At this point, Goldberg said flatly, “Report them and put them in jail.”
