White House Goes After Donald Trump With Latest Order

(TargetLiberty.org) – The Biden administration decided to bend the rules and hand over private White House logs to the committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot. President Joe Biden seems to value attacking his predecessor more highly than fixing the many problems the country faces.

On February 15, White House counsel wrote to the National Archives ordering them to hand over White House visitor logs from the Trump administration to the Democrat-dominated House committee. Because of the “urgency” of the investigation – which has been ongoing since last July and isn’t expected to conclude anytime soon – Dana Remus, counsel to the president, said the logs should be provided within 15 days. The order goes against former President Donald Trump’s argument that the logs are protected by executive privilege.

This isn’t the first time Biden has ordered the release of private documents from the last administration; last year he rejected the executive privilege argument over other White House documents, which were also released to the committee.

It seems the committee is determined to somehow link the president’s visitors to the outbreak of violence around the Capitol, and Biden is happy to help them. With inflation out of control, worsening supply chain issues, our southern border bursting at the seams and war about to break out in Europe, one would think his priorities are grossly misplaced.
