(TargetLiberty.org) – The final weekend of September is a wrap, and it was full of breaking news. FISA warrants were once again a hot topic. President Donald Trump solidified his legacy, and the White House chief of staff made it clear where the FBI director stands.
FISA Fallout
During a September 27 interview with Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe would testify before the Senate on October 6. The Republican believes “something else…more damning” is going to come out.
Graham said “a day of reckoning is coming” because the evidence is showing the agency “defrauded the FISA court” to get warrants to “go after Trump.”
Former FBI Director James Comey is going to testify on September 30. Graham also wants to speak to FBI agent William Barnett, the man who said the investigation was to “get Trump,” and others connected to the case.
SCOTUS Nominee Attacked
President Donald Trump’s opposition didn’t wait long to attack his Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
Boston University’s Director of the Center for Antiracist Research, Ibram X. Kendi, pointed out that adopting black children doesn’t mean people aren’t racist, adding “some white colonizers” use black kids as props while “cutting the biological parents….out of the picture of humanity.”
Joe Biden is accusing the president of trying to end healthcare for millions of Americans by choosing Barrett.
In the middle of a pandemic, Donald Trump is trying to force through the confirmation of a Justice who will help him destroy Obamacare.

Confidence in Wray?
There have been rumblings that Trump isn’t happy with FBI Director Christopher Wray. White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was asked about it during an interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday. According to the official, there are “different degrees of confidence” in the director.
However, Meadows went on to say that when the president no longer trusts a Cabinet member, he doesn’t have an issue replacing that person. They do serve “at his pleasure,” after all.
