(TargetLiberty.org) – Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is out of the 2020 race for the White House.
Warren officially suspended her presidential campaign came after a disappointing Super Tuesday performance.
The end of her campaign is hardly surprising. She lost a whopping 19 states, including her home state of Massachusetts, and didn’t finish higher than third anywhere.
Our work continues, the fight goes on, and big dreams never die. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. https://t.co/28kyKe777L

News of Warren dropping out means that the Democratic party basically now faces a standoff between the progressive ideas of Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and the more moderate views of Former Vice President Joe Biden.
Sanders has managed to create a “movement” with his democratic socialism, which is popular among younger voters. However, moderate Democrats and high-ranking members of the party have thrown their support behind Biden.
Warren has not yet said which of the two remaining candidates she will endorse for the presidency. Many of her supporters are progressives whose ideals align with those of Sanders but the two don’t always get along, so an endorsement for him is not a given. When asked about who she’ll back, Warren said she’ll “take a deep breath and spend a little time on that” before announcing her decision.
