(TargetLiberty.org) – In New Hampshire, voters shared their opinions on who should be the running mate for former President Trump in the upcoming 2024 election. The age factor was a notable consideration for some, with a voter named Kate from Maine emphasizing the need for a younger vice-presidential candidate. She pointed out that both President Biden, currently 81, and Trump, 77, are of advanced age, making the selection of the vice president particularly crucial in this election.
Another voter, Irene from Massachusetts, expressed less concern about the specific choice of Trump’s running mate, focusing instead on the importance of the chosen individual’s support for Trump’s leadership and policies.
Conversely, Michael from Arkansas brought a spiritual perspective, stating that the future president would need divine guidance due to the challenges of leading a country that he perceived as being in dire straits.
Some voters had clear preferences for Trump’s potential vice-presidential candidate. Diane from New Hampshire suggested former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley as a suitable choice, believing she could provide a balancing influence to Trump’s personality. However, Trump himself seemed to dismiss this possibility, commenting at a New Hampshire rally that he did not see Haley as presidential material.
Greg, another New Hampshire voter, speculated that New York Representative Elise Stefanik, known for her support of Trump, might be a likely candidate for the vice-presidential slot.
During a Fox News town hall in Des Moines, Iowa, Trump hinted that he had already made a decision regarding his running mate. Names mentioned in the discussions included South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Ohio Senator JD Vance, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
However, not all voters were enthusiastic about the prospect of a Trump presidency. Brian, from New Hampshire, expressed apprehension at the thought of Trump winning the election, reflecting a sentiment of concern rather than preference regarding the potential vice-presidential candidate.
