(TargetLiberty.org) – An Oregon county has come up with an interesting new way to combat racism – a mandatory mask law that only applies to one race. Lincoln County, which has experienced a recent spike in coronavirus cases, issued a health directive that makes it mandatory to wear a mask in public. The catch? The order only applies to white people.

Previous Lincoln County mask mandates exempted children under age 12 as well as people with medical conditions or disabilities that would be disadvantaged by a mask. That’s pretty standard for these mandates. However, the new one says non-whites who have “heightened concerns about racial profiling and harassment… ” will be exempt.
Race activists argue that requiring black people to wear a mask would be “basically telling people to look dangerous,” a concern that apparently doesn’t apply to whites. Instead, this discriminatory law means because anyone infected with coronavirus won’t have a barrier layer to trap virus-laced droplets, they’ll actually be dangerous.
