Ukraine Arrests Man Who Supplied Artillery Information to Russian Army

Russian Spy ARRESTED – Treasonous?

(TargetLiberty.org) – Last month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fired two of his top officials. At the time, he expressed concern about an incredible number of espionage cases in his government. Now, law enforcement officials have arrested a man for betraying his country.

According to reports, police took a resident of Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast, into custody. The suspect reportedly used pro-Russian Telegram channels. He claimed the collapse of the Soviet Union was a mistake and showed animosity toward authorities in his own country.

Authorities accuse the man of providing a Russian acquaintance with the location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and equipment. He also allegedly included information about attacks on Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka that resulted in casualties.

In July, Zelenskyy said there were hundreds of cases of “high treason” working their way through the courts for officials who allegedly aided Russia. Additionally, the government has banned a number of opposition parties from operating in the country. Officials accused them of being pro-Russian and working against the people’s will.

The war in Ukraine has raged for nearly six months. Thousands of civilians and military members on both sides of the fight have died. Russian President Vladimir Putin has not indicated he plans to end the conflict any time soon, and Zelenskyy won’t give up any of his territories.
