(TargetLiberty.org) – Mary Trump, the niece of former President Donald Trump, recently predicted her uncle’s response to a potential loss in the presidential election. As she anticipated he would most likely repeat the same behavior that he had after losing the 2020 presidential election to his Democratic opponent, President Joe Biden.
Donald Trump is currently the leading candidate in the GOP primary and he has already launched his presidential campaign in 2024. However, many of the other big GOP names, have not yet announced their plans for 2024. This includes Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who is widely speculated to be considering his own bid for 2024.
However, even if Trump does manage to win the GOP nomination, that does not necessarily mean that he would be successful in a rematch against Biden.
Mary Trump is a vocal critic of Trump and during her podcast on Thursday, stated that “Voter subversion is apparently a new phenomenon and its apparently convincing people that the election was stolen from them” or that the results of the election were illegitimate. She added that she was sure that if Trump lost again he would “call for another insurrection” and keep claiming that the election was stolen. She had previously predicted that Trump would manage to become the GOP presidential nominee in 2024.
Mary Trump is not the only one worried about what the former President’s response to potentially losing the election in 2024 will be. Fox News co-host Geraldo Rivera last week also claimed that Donald Trump was a potential threat to the country’s democratic system if he loses. These worries are predominantly the result of Trump’s constant claims of widespread voter fraud which led to the 2020 presidential election being stolen from him.
