On Halloween, a new survey taken by the Des Moines Register and Mediacom in Iowa showed the president ahead of Joe Biden, 48% to the Democrat’s 41%. More importantly, Trump is winning back support from independent voters to take the lead.
The Iowa Poll is gold standard for statewide polling in US. Last night it put Trump on 48%, Biden on 41%. Des Moines Register said Biden “fading” in Iowa, reinforcing Democrat fears he’s not finishing strongly. Poll also put Sen Joni Ernst (R) on 46%, Theresa Greenfield (D) on 42

For weeks, the mainstream media has been pushing a narrative that Joe Biden is going to win by a landslide. As the election nears, that’s seeming less likely.
Just like in 2016, the press seems to have severely underestimated the strength of Trump’s support with working-class America. They want a commander-in-chief who’s going to work for them. The president has a proven track record of doing just that. Before the pandemic, the economy was setting records. Soon we will find out if the POTUS will have four more years to do that again.
