(TargetLiberty.org) – On Monday, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) sent a letter to law enforcement officers urging them to prepare as she would make announcements about a possible indictment in her investigation relating to the attempts to interfere with the state’s elections in 2020 in “the coming months.”

The letter, which was obtained by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, constitutes one of the latest progress updates on the investigation which is examining former President Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results and to block President Biden from becoming the President. In January, Willis had stated that she would be making charging decisions imminently.

In the letter, Willis stated that she would announce any indictment between July 11 and September 1, and claimed that the announcement would potentially lead to a “significant public reaction.” The grand jury forewoman following their report claimed that the final report would include multiple indictments.

During the probe, Trump was never interviewed, but his former attorney Rudy Giuliani had been informed that he was one of the targets of the investigation. Another 16 Republicans who had also met with him as part of the Trump campaign’s false elector scheme were also included in the probe.

Willis in a recent court filing, also indicated that she had offered immunity deals to some of those who are known to have cast fake electoral votes for Trump. However, there are multiple defendants that might be included in the case.
