(TargetLiberty.org) – Former President Donald Trump mocked his Republican presidential opponents over the GOP primary debate. The Iowa caucuses are currently less than two months away, and there are four Republican candidates who are attempting to win the necessary support to win the Republican presidential nomination against Trump.

During the debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama the candidates on the debate stage often clashed. This prompted Trump to take to his social media platform, Truth Social where he provided his verdict on the outcome of the debate.

The primary debate was the lowest primary debate in terms of TV audience to date, with only 4 million people tuning in to watch Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The first presidential debate by comparison had 12.8 million viewers, the second 9 million viewers, and the third one had 7 million viewers.

Trump in his post pointed out the low TV audience of the debate and stated that DeSantis’ performance in the debate was “terrible.” He then stated that Christie was even worse and that he was not fit to serve in the White House. He proceeded to call him a “sick puppy.” As he pointed out, Christie only had 1 percent support which would put his numbers close to those of “former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.”

He also slammed DeSantis for using heel lifts, an allegation that DeSantis has frequently denied in the past. Finally, he argued Ramaswamy was the winner only because he believed Trump was great.
