In a recent interview with NBC News, former Trump White House strategist Stephen Bannon said that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is ambitious and that she “sees herself on the shortlist” to be Donald Trump’s running mate in his 2024 campaign to take the White House.

Bannon added that Greene sees herself as a potential presidential candidate in the future.
According to one source, Greene has a vision and plan that would allow her to become Trump’s vice President. Trump announced that he would be placing a third bid on the White House in November 2022, ever since then many have speculated about who would become Trump’s running mate, especially as his former vice president Mike Pence appears to have his own presidential ambitions.

Greene has been a vocal ally of Trump and even went as far as to endorse him before his presidential campaign was officially launched. Previously Greene had disclosed that she would be happy to run as Trump’s vice President.

Bannon said regarding Greene that she was “strategic and disciplined.” She added that her moves are always calculated and that she is always preparing for the long run.

While many are saying that Greene is being considered to act as Trump’s second there are many other names on the table currently. These include Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake (R).
However, Trump has not yet made any announcements regarding who his second would be.
