(TargetLiberty.org) – On Sunday, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to claim that if he was still the president of the United States Russia would not have invaded Ukraine and Hamas would not have launched the attacks against Israel.
While writing on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump alleged that if he were in office neither of the attacks would have occurred. He added that there would have been “zero chance” of that happening.
These comments came only one day after Trump stated during a campaign appearance in Waterloo Iowa that the attack on Israel was the result of the United States leadership being “weak and ineffective.” He pointed out that the U.S. was internationally considered to have a “really weak leader” which is why the attacks had occurred.
This is not the first time that Trump has made such comments as he had similarly stated after Russia invaded Ukraine that if he were still in office this would not have occurred. In March, following the February 24, 2022 invasion Trump had also stated that if he was elected in the White House again he would be able to resolve the conflict within 24 hours.
Trump had at the time told Fox News that if the situation was not solved by the time he won back the White House then he would arrange to solve the situation. He had added that it was essential for the war to end as Ukraine was going to be “obliterated.”
