(TargetLiberty.org) – On Friday, former President Trump attacked former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) following the latest GOP primary debate where he had appeared to be very strong.
In his post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump argued that Christie was not “fit” to run from the White House. He added that in the last debate, Christie had finished last while Trump had finished first. He then pointed out that this has been the case for all the debates despite the fact that he has not even appeared in the debates.
On Wednesday during the primary debate, Christie attacked Trump and even got into an altercation with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) during the debate as the two candidates were going back and forth talking about the former President.
Christie had at the time stated that it was not a “mystery” what Trump wanted to do and that he had started off his campaign by claiming that he was the people’s “retribution.” He then pointed out that eight years ago when he was running for the White House the first time he had claimed to be the people’s “voice.” He added that Trump was just a “bitter man” who was looking to return to the White House as retribution and that he would go against anyone who opposed him or attempted to hold him accountable for his actions.
In September, Trump also replied to Christie’s statements about him after the Republican primary debate. At the time he had referred to Christie as a “bum” and had proceeded to slam the GOP candidate.
