(TargetLiberty.org) – On Thursday, Donald Trump Jr. defended beer conglomerate Anheuser-Busch calling for his listeners to stop boycotting the company. As he claimed the company was too “iconic” to be boycotted further and that the executives had learned on his podcast Thursday, urging listeners not to continue boycotting the company.

During an episode of his podcast Trump Jr. specifically said that the company “totally sh*t the bed with this Dylan Mulvaney thing,” however, despite this he was not supporting the destruction of an iconic American company.

In recent weeks the beer company has come under a lot of criticism after partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Regarding the collaboration Trump Jr. said that he would not place the blame on the entire company for something that was most likely caused by the “inaction or the stupidity of someone in a marketing campaign that got woke as hell.”

He proceeded to say that another reason to support Anheuser-Busch’s beer is the fact that the company donates a little bit more to conservative politicians than they do to liberal ones. As he noted, generally the company does not engage with a lot of the “leftist nonsense” that other big companies engage with. He added that there are other people in the beer industry who are “significantly worse.”

Mulvaney, a trans activist and social media influencer who grew in popularity after sharing her transition into “girlhood,” revealed that the beer company had sent packs of Bud Light with her face printed on the cans to be used as an ad in the celebration of her first full year of “girlhood.”
