(TargetLiberty) Former President Trump and former NJ Governor Christie (R) got into an online altercation on Sunday after Christie predicted that Trump would not be able to win in 2024 if he went up against President Biden.

Christie, who had previously endorsed Trump in 2016, even going as far as dropping his presidential campaign, has since become more openly critical of the former President. During a segment on ABC news, where he is also a contributor, Christie predicted that Trump would not be successful in a matchup against Trump.

Trump responded to that statement by posting on his platform Truth Social. In the post, he made Trump called Christie “Sloppy” and the “failed former Governor of New Jersey.” He
further noted that when Christie left his office he had an approval rating of only 9%. Trump was also judgmental of Christie’s lacking presidential campaign, which he dropped so that he could endorse Trump.

Following the posts, Christie took to Twitter to say that Trump’s latest Truth Social posts are only his “new tantrum.” Christie added that while he is currently the target of Trump’s tantrum he was unbothered by all of the lies that Trump said.

The former governor stated regarding Trump that the sting of having lost the 2020 presidential election was in full force. He added that Trump was currently the only person outside of Delaware to have been beaten by Biden.
