(TargetLiberty.org) – On Wednesday former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to attack the judge who is presiding over his New York civil fraud case. In his post, he stated that the judge needed to leave his children alone and argued that there was sufficient evidence to have the case completely thrown out.
Trump once again argued that the case had been brought forward by Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York who was a racist. He added that Judge Arthur Engoron hated him and that he should not have brought in as one of the star witnesses Michael Cohen, who is Trump’s former lawyer. Cohen was brought in to testify last week, and he is considered one of the key witnesses in the case.
However, Trump claimed in his post that Cohen had lied during his testimony. He stated that this alone was reason enough to have the case completely dismissed. The former president also opposed the claim that the value of his assets was lower than the one in his financial statement and argued that the opposite is true, despite the claims in the testimony. He further stated that the financial statements had a “disclaimer clause” and that all of the deals made with the banks resulted in the banks being fully paid off.
Trump also alleged that he was the only victim in this case and stated that they needed to leave his children alone. Finally, he addressed Engoron claiming he was a “disgrace to the legal profession!”
