(TargetLiberty.org) – On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump delivered his State of the Union (SOTU) Address. During his speech, he talked about abortion while a very special guest sat in the crowd.
A full-term pregnancy is 40 weeks long, but Ellie Schneider was born at 21 weeks and 6 days gestation. It’s a scientific miracle that she’s alive today. The 2-year-old and her mother, Robin, sat in the crowd at the SOTU while the president asked Congress to ban late-term abortion and give $50 million to neonatal research.

Last month, the president became the first in history to speak at the March of Life. His remarks come as the battle over abortion reaches a fever pitch. Democrats argue it’s a woman’s right to choose, but Conservatives point out that the baby has rights, too.
This year, the Supreme Court is expected to weigh in. The Court will hear an abortion rights case in the spring, which could change the way the law treats this issue.
