(TargetLiberty.org) – Anthony Scaramucci, the former Trump White House Communications Director, claimed that CEOS who are supporting former President Donald Trump had “Trump-nesia.” This comment came only two days after Trump’s Business Roundtable quarterly meeting which included more than 80 CEOS, including Apple’s Tim Cook.

In an interview on MSNBC, Scaramucci told Alex Witt that these CEOs had a “bit of Trump-nesia” and that previously there had been many occasions in which they denounced him. Still, as he pointed out for some reason they now believe that because of the little policy promises that he is providing for them they will switch over to him. He added that Trump is the “chaos candidate” and that he just wanted to remind these people that during his time in office, they had not been happy.

Trump stated during the event that he would be pushing for a cut to the corporate tax rate. During his first term in office, he pushed forward a number of legislations that had reduced corporate tax rates from 35 to 21 percent.

Still, Scaramucci believes that a second Trump administration might be a danger to the country as it could result in an increase in inflation. He proceeded to claim that Trump was intending to deport 15 million people and to increase tariffs by 20 percent.

President Biden had also been invited to the event, however rather than attending the G7 summit in Europe he had opted to send Jeff Zients, the White House Chief of Staff in his place.
