Jaylyn Christopher Molina, aka Abdur Rahim, was arrested last September following an FBI communications surveillance operation. Agents had tracked Molina and fellow conspirator Kristopher Sean Matthews of Eglin, SC, as they distributed pro-ISIS videos and discussed a series of attacks on high-profile targets, including the White House and Trump Tower. Molina told Matthews that America was his enemy but he would “raise the black flag of Allah.”
On January 25, Molina pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to support ISIS and one count of receiving child pornography. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. He will be sentenced in March.
