Ted Cruz Makes Headlines With Controversial Statement — Calls The DOJ “Dogs”

(TargetLiberty.org) – On July 27, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” where he voiced a strong opinion about the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ). Regarding the latter, the lawmaker said they have become “partisan attack dogs” for President Joe Biden.

During the interview, he said both institutions are “deeply politicized” and riddled with corruption; a viewpoint the legislator detailed in his upcoming book due out at the beginning of September.

To prove his point, Cruz specifically mentioned Attorney General Merrick Garland and his prosecutorial threats against former President Donald Trump, saying the recent focus shows he is playing politics and abusing his position.

If the AG weren’t partisan, the Texas politician concludes, he would turn his attention toward Hunter Biden as well, for his alleged “many felonies.” Cruz believes Garland is giving the president’s son a pass simply because his father currently serves as commander-in-chief.

TV show host Tucker Carlson also wonders why the justice department isn’t investigating the younger Biden. During a recent monologue, he accused the DOJ of “hiding evidence” of Hunter’s involvement in criminal activity, pointing out several other people on the Left the attorney general refuses to examine.

Do you agree that the Department of Justice and the FBI have become corrupt and partisan?
