Another Trump-Endorsed Candidate Officially Wins The Pennsylvania Primary
(TargetLiberty.org) – TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz and former hedge fund CEO David McCormick were neck and neck in the Pennsylvania Republican primary race for a seat in the US Senate. However, it now appears that McCormick has officially conceded the election, granting the former president Donald Trump yet another win in the candidates he has so far endorsed.
It is significant because of the primary for the Republican Senate nomination involving Mehmet Oz and David McCormick. McCormick, who trails Oz by fewer than 1,000 votes, has filed a lawsuit in state court to require that such “undated ballots” be counted. https://t.co/CCW1WmfUzj

Whether it’s a coincidence that Justice Alito had ordered a hold on the counting of delayed ballots, allowing additional time in the process, it appears that McCormick has finally given up the war. He conceded to Dr. Oz while the state was still in the process of recounting all other votes.
The Trump-endorsed candidate, Dr. Oz, remained ahead in the race by fewer than 972 votes, prompting the recount and making the mail-in ballots potentially the determining factor in which candidate would have made it to the Senate had both the recount and the consideration of undated ballots continued.
It looks like David McCormick is ready to put political infighting aside, and pull support behind Dr. Oz ahead of the general 2022 midterm elections.
Dr. Oz was quick to respond, “I received a gracious phone call from David McCormick and am tremendously grateful for his pledge of support in the fall election,” Oz tweeted. “We share the goal of a brighter future for Pennsylvania & America.”
