(TargetLiberty.org) – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) administration is drowning in scandals right now. The governor is facing allegations of sexual harassment and claims that he covered up the number of nursing home deaths in the state. There are now reports he’s losing staffers as well.
According to March 6 reports in the New York Post, multiple staff members have resigned amid the two scandals. Among the officials who are escaping the alleged toxic environment are the governor’s scheduler Sophie Boldison, his top COVID-19 aide Gareth Rhodes, and healthcare analyst Erin Hammond.

On March 1, NY Attorney General Letitia James announced she was launching an investigation into the sexual harassment claims. The governor has denied the allegations in both scandals and has said he will not resign despite bipartisan calls for him to step aside. If the recent resignations are any indication, it seems his staff isn’t convinced.
