“Squad” Member Takes a JAB at Senator Ted Cruz – “Miserable Little Weasel”
(TargetLiberty.org) – Ilhan Omar (D-MN), considered a far-Left congresswoman, recently made national headlines attacking a Republican senator for daring to disagree with the Biden administration’s latest high-spending plan.
On September 6, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) revealed he’s working with a top lawyer to challenge Biden’s student loan forgiveness program, which would write off up to $20,000 in student debt for millions of Americans — yet cost taxpayers an estimated $500 billion, according to an analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
Omar quickly hit back, tweeting that Cruz is “a miserable little weasel” and going so far as to refer to him as “Lucifer in the flesh.”
What a miserable little weasel, no wonder they call him “Lucifer in the flesh.”
Fortunately, student debt cancellation is legally sound and should withstand legal scrutiny. Set your alerts for the application in October, if you qualify for relief and file before the end of Dec. https://t.co/TXUpWbr3Af

A member of the notorious “Squad” of more progressive legislators, she also claimed that debt forgiveness is constitutional, although Biden himself had doubts about it at one point. Many Republicans argue the president should have allowed Congress to vote on the plan instead of issuing it via sole executive authority.
Already several prominent leaders within the Republican Party, including Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, are considering presenting a lawsuit and challenging the Biden Administration, according to CNBC. This may place future student loan forgiveness plans in limbo for millions of Americans if filed.
Omar claims she isn’t worried by the prospect of a legal challenge to Biden’s plan, however her very public and angry reaction may indicate otherwise.
Is this a legitimate response to a fellow lawmaker taking legal steps to challenge a policy according to the US Constitution, or has Omar gone too far? What do you think? Let us know your thoughts!
