(TargetLiberty.org) – President Donald Trump is currently fighting an impeachment for the second time in his career. This time around, there are questions about whether or not the trial is even going to be constitutional.
On January 17, Trump’s campaign spokesperson, J. Hogan Gidley, released a statement saying that President Trump hasn’t decided which “lawyer or law firm will represent him” when he fights the “disgraceful attack” on America’s democracy. Although the American people don’t yet know for certain who will be on the president’s legal team, we may see at least one familiar face.
Statement On President Trump’s Impeachment Defense Team:
President Trump has not yet made a determination as to which lawyer or law firm will represent him for the disgraceful attack on our Constitution and democracy, known as the “impeachment hoax.” We will keep you informed.

The president’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, told ABC News he’s currently working on Trump’s defense. The former NYC mayor said he thinks the president should file to have the impeachment dismissed because he doesn’t believe it was “entirely legal.” That’s a sentiment echoed by other law experts around the country, including constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz.
What the commander-in-chief is going to do remains to be seen, but we will keep you updated.
