(TargetLiberty.org) – There were some hints of light at the end of the COVID tunnel on Monday, as two Democrat governors announced they finally plan to lift mask mandates in their states. It looks like this could be the start of a nationwide trend.
Breaking News: New Jersey’s governor, a Democrat, is expected to end mask mandates in schools for students and teachers, in what he says is a "huge step toward normalcy." https://t.co/tX3Nc3c6oe

On February 7, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) said masks will no longer be mandatory in NJ public schools after March 7. The state’s school mask mandate was reimposed last August, and Murphy extended it in January. Now, finally, it’s being removed.
On the same day, Delaware Governor John Carney (D) announced his state’s mask mandate for all indoor public spaces will end on February 11; the mandate for public schools will expire on March 31.
Other states are now looking at following their lead. Connecticut’s Ned Lamont (D) said he’ll decide whether to scrap his school mask mandate within days – and, with other states having already gone down that route, it’s no longer certain the answer will be no. Even Kathy Hochul (D) in mask-obsessed New York said on February 4 there could be “some announcements in the short term” on masks.
Is the Democrat obsession over face coverings finally running out of wind?
