(TargetLiberty.org) – On Tuesday, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was called to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee over allegations his company has been censoring conservative voices. It seems he hasn’t learned anything from the experience – because in the last few days two key members of President Trump’s legal team have been shadowbanned by Twitter’s censors.
Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell have been taking the lead in filing lawsuits against disputed or suspicious election results across the US, and they’ve been keeping the president’s supporters updated on social media. It seems staff at Dorsey’s Ministry of Truth has a problem with that, because since early this week, searching for new tweets by the pair doesn’t return any results – and nor does searching for the exact text of their tweets.

Reclaim The Net, a pro-free speech group that works to highlight online censorship, has run tests on Giuliani and Powell’s accounts – and found that both of them have been hit with a search ban. This is one of Twitter’s more subtle censorship tools; instead of banning someone, which is instantly obvious to the target and their followers, the liberal tech giant simply erases them from its search engine and slashes the reach of their message. The Senate might have told Twitter to clean up its act, but Dorsey isn’t listening.
