(TargetLiberty.org) – On Wednesday, entrepreneur and GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy repeatedly claimed that former President Donald Trump was “wounded.” Ramaswamy claimed that he was the best candidate to continue leading the MAGA movement as he tried to win more support from the Republican supporters of the former President.
Ramaswamy made these recent remarks during a joint interview with The Des Moines Register and NBC News. The presidential candidate has consistently tried to keep a balance between praising Trump and at the same time showcasing himself as the best option in the presidential election. Ramaswamy has often claimed that he would be able to push Trump’s policies even further and has added that Trump would not be able to win the Presidential election because of all the legal challenges he is facing, including the recent 14th Amendment challenges as in several states they are trying to block him from being on the presidential ballot.
Ramaswamy argued that they did not have as many things against him as they had on Trump. He added that this is the reason he would perform better in the election despite both of them being in the same “system.” As he pointed out, even right now four different moves have been made against Trump, this was a reference to the four indictments he had faced in 2023.
The Republican candidate has previously vowed that he would not be joining any primary race in a state that has removed Trump from the ballot. Currently, this includes Colorado and Maine. He added that he would do his best to continue supporting Trump in his fight to gain access to the ballot.
