(TargetLiberty.org) – Jim Lamon, a former Arizona Senate hopeful, had previously been one of the fake electors who had falsely signed that former President Donald Trump had won in the 2020 elections in the state, has now been found funding a Political Action Committee (PAC) that is opposing Trump.
Lamon had lost in the Republican Senate primary in August 2020 against Blake Masters who was supported by Trump. Since losing he has become the sole donor for the Actions Speak Louder Than Tweets PAC which has released a number of ads attacking Trump over his endorsements of moderate Republican Sen. Mitt Romney.
Rob Pyers, a campaign finance expert, claimed that Lamon’s alone has provided the $240,000 that the PAC has in its coffers. Reportedly he has made the deposits over three months. The Pac’s website expresses support for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis who recently joined the 2024 Republican presidential race.
Lamon who had once supported Trump by being a part of the false elector’s group that tried to push that Trump had been the victor in 2020 instead of Joe Biden, is now doing everything possible to avoid seeing Trump as the winner of the presidential election. Trump is currently leading the 2024 Republican primary race, often polling at above 50 percent. Still, he is also facing a number of legal troubles, with the latest being speculation that he will be indicted in connection to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election and remain in the White House.
In December of 2020, Lamon along with 10 other Republicans, including Kelly Ward, the Arizona GOP chair, and her husband, met and signed documents that falsely made them appear as the state electors.
