(TargetLiberty.org) – President Biden will soon be putting forward his nominee for the Supreme Court. To honor a campaign bargain made to Representative James Clyburn (D-SC), he’s insisting the nominee will be a black woman. The problem is, according to the most recent ABC News/Ipsos poll, the vast majority of Americans don’t approve.
BREAKING: Just over three-quarters of Americans (76%) want Pres. Biden to consider "all possible nominees," while 23% want him to follow through on his commitment to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court, per a new @ABC News/Ipsos poll. https://t.co/FHLGrgJg9Z

The ABC News and Ipsos poll asked potential voters what they thought of Biden’s plan, and the answer was clear – they don’t like it. The poll results show in every category, Americans believe restricting candidates by race and gender is a mistake; people think Biden should look at all candidates and pick the best.
The highest support for Biden’s pledge was among Democrats, but even there a majority – 54% – were opposed. Just 28% of nonwhite Americans think Biden should restrict the nomination to black women. Overall, 23% support his plan and a massive 76% oppose it. If the president follows through on his deal with Clyburn, he’ll be doing it without the support of the American people.
Other data from the poll doesn’t look good for Biden either. A whopping 69% expressed disapproval over his record on inflation, and there was also criticism of his performance on crime and the economy; just 1% think the economy is in “excellent” condition.
Will Biden finally start listening to the people, or has been firmly captured by the hard left?
