(TargetLiberty.org) – Former director of strategic media for former Vice President Mike Pence, Sofia Kinzinger stated during a recent interview on “ “CNN This Morning” with Poppy Harlow that her former boss needed to be more truthful when it came to Trump. As she argued there were still a lot of lies or untruths circulating regarding the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021, and former President Donald Trump.
Kinzinger, who is the wife of former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), who had served in the Jan. 6 Select Committee, said that it was personal when Pence referred to the committee as a partisan witch hunt. She argued that she had experience in campaigns and she knew what it meant to draft talking points and to try to bring voters on your side. She argued however that this is not a case that relates to policies but rather to the nation’s democracy.
Kinzinger further argued that Pence knew both her and her husband very well and that they were neither Democrats nor pawns in the hands of the Democrats. She proceeded to argue that her husband and Liz Cheney had really helped bring forward the truth of this case while Pence had remained quiet.
Sofia Kinzinger then questioned whether Pence was thankful for the work that these two Republicans had done while serving on the panel. As she argued, Pence was now confirming everything that the two had told the public. She further claimed that Pence should have come out and spoken up a lot sooner than he did.
