(TargetLiberty.org) – On Wednesday former Vice President Mike Pence is going to make a one-day trip to Iowa as he is getting closer to potentially deciding on whether or not he is going to be making a presidential bid in 2024. Iowa is the state that starts the Republican Party’s presidential nominating calendar.

Pence has repeatedly stated that he is going to be making a decision on whether or not he is going to run in the 2024 presidential election in the spring. If he does he would be joining a list of GOP contenders including former President Donald Trump, who he had served under as his vice president.

His day in Iowa is scheduled to start in Urbandale, outside of Des Moines, where he is going to be giving a speech at a breakfast hosted by the Westside Conservative Club. The group normally holds two breakfasts each month, but a third one was scheduled to accommodate the former vice president’s visit.

Pence is then expected to participate in a fireside chat at a luncheon in Cedar Rapids, where a small book signing for his memoir “So Help Me God” is also going to take place. Finally, he is going to conclude his day by delivering remarks in Coralville at the Johnson County Republicans Reagan dinner.

This is going to be the second time that Pence has visited Iowa in the last month and his eighth time since the end of the Trump administration.
