(TargetLiberty.org) – At the end of October, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told Vanity Fair she doesn’t plan to stay in the House of Representatives forever. In an interview with the New York Times, published on November 7, she once again signaled her plans to leave her current position.
During the interview, AOC discussed her party’s moderates blaming progressives for their losses on November 3. She told the paper that she doesn’t “even know if [she] wants to be in politics” because of the hostility toward the causes important to her. The congresswoman has spent days lashing out at her party on Twitter, as well.
One thing I’ll say: for the last two years, I and progressive candidates have been unseating powerful Dem incumbents supported by DCCC.
Not *once* has anyone in the party asked me what weaknesses I’ve found in their operation.
If they stop blaming progressives, we can help.

It’s apparent trouble is brewing in the Democratic Party. AOC and those like her are trying to pull the party and the country to the far-Left. Voters in key states rejected those attempts, and she doesn’t seem to understand that. What’s her party going to do about it, though? Will they allow her to take over or listen to the American people?
